The First Match

Fwahaha, GENE's movements are perfection! Only a genius scientist like me could construct such a Humanoid!

The original Rikka laugh is “fuhihi”, which sounds more cunning.

Rikka refers to herself as “boku”, which is normally for males, so this is another instant stereotype set up by a language feature that English could not do. Japanese players will understand right away that this character is a “boku-girl” and comes with all the expected bratty but lovable tropes.

Yoh

I'm looking forward to seeing her performance. But there's something about that Gear...

Canon

What's wrong, Captain?

Yoh

It's just that...boys love toys, you know?

Rouman 浪漫 is the “romance” of boys, and I think manga often use just that to convey it.

Kakeru

I understand! All right, let's do this!

Kakeru says “usshi” the same way “yosh” works when he hypes himself up.

Kakeru

Time to groove!

Again, I think I’d love it if they used LET’S! GROOVE COASTER! exactly, even when the grammar is weird.
