This might be the best use of red/blue notes so far in the game, future of the game is bright if they realize they should be using them for the "dance" like this and not like in Divine Force / Sweetone Memory. Clearly telegraphed and finger movements are choreographed by them. No "blue because the singer's hair is blue" and just fun. Did you notice the other 2 songs in this DLC being red and blue? I guess that's how to get songs into this game...
And the visualization is EXCELLENT. The Groove Coaster signature style is there in perfect harmony with the video texture, and even the video was done very well with moving frames and decoration layers on top that makes the parallax effect with the notes on top, giving sense of space even when video is flat. Transition into and out of video is awesome. They even made dancing 3D silhouette models, surely we will get more HIMEHINA songs in the near future. No way something of this quality won't get reused!
: You will be doing this catchy video section dance 3 times. Reset dominant hand as often as possible on that vocal chop circles and listen to the feedback sound. Rail is only mildly bouncing so you can look closely to resync. (I do think bouncing rail of this degree actually helps with the timing since it signifies each 4th downbeat.) "Kon Coretta" is slightly hard due to there are 4 notes leading to the square, so if starting with dominant hand, hand hitting the square will be non-dominant if alternated all the way. But square is special so you can enjoy it without being overly technical. (Good use of Special Note by the way, so chart can be both accurate and not having difficulty spike in unintended places.)
: Funny blue and red note kiss scene. I found one handing all the combination notes easier and just keep the hand holding the line note still.
: Fun one-handed pattern here. The circle is a hint to either use up or down so the pad travel is smooth, since rail is vertical they can't put actual up or down here.
: Beat is lacking here, I got FAST/SLOW often on the 3 white notes in between special dual circles, until I use left and right button always on the special dual circles rather than staying on either up or down. More finger movements but timing improved somehow due to that clarifying patterns.
: Super fun chorus section. Note charter should be proud coming up with this good use of the red/blue arrows. The white arrows you should always start with dominant hand to help with the timing. That means as a right hander, you have to use left button of the right side controller. Recommended to ad-lib once after that two left-right dual arrows. Same tips applies to 2 other choruses coming up. They will switch up the direction of left and right arrows, and you might have to use more of the rarely use button on your dominant hand for the dominant hand resets.
All other parts are repeats so that's it. But this one got the perfect formula so what's better than repeating what's already working? I do hope someone from Taito see this and keep making more quality charts like this one.
